SEMINARS
For Parents
ADHD 101 for Parents: In this two-hour, one-on-one crash course, you’ll learn:
the basics of how your ADHD child’s brain works
why they’re doing what they’re doing
how you can best support them and help them be successful.
You’ll walk away from this one-time session with high-level insights into ADHD and how it shows up for your child. We’ll also talk about some tips and techniques that you can begin trying immediately to help you better communicate with and understand your child. After the session, you will receive a digital guide that summarizes the topics and learnings from the session, as well as some additional resources. This guide will be an excellent reference tool as you continue to work with your child to develop the strategies that help them (and you!) be successful in this journey.
For Teens
Teens Workshop: This workshop runs every other month on even months (December, February, April, etc.). This workshop is six sessions broken up into two weeks, and runs for 3 days each week, typically Monday through Wednesday. Each session is one hour. This workshop is an opportunity for teens and tweens to learn about ADHD and how it typically shows up for them. Workshops usually have 5-10 participants, and we spend a significant portion of the time exploring strategies for leveraging ADHD for success.
ADHD 101 For Teens: This offering is an individual alternative to the Teens Workshop, for people who would like to receive the same content but who don’t have the scheduling flexibility to attend the six workshop sessions, or would simply prefer the 1:1time and attention. It typically lasts 3-4 hours.
GROUPS
Parent Group: After completing an ADHD Parenting 101 session, you may consider joining our ongoing Parents Group. This group will build on the foundations discussed in Parenting 101, and will include peer collaboration and coach support as we identify and explore strategies for effectively raising your ADHD child. The group meets weekly, at least three times per month.
Teen Group: After completing either the Teens Workshop or ADHD 101 for Teens workshop, teenagers with ADHD may opt to join our ongoing group, which is a continuation of the peer collaborating and coaching support they received in the workshop. Our Teen group typically has 5-15 participants ranging from ages 14-18. We meet weekly, at least three times per month.
